Tell your story

Stories are one of our most powerful and effective communications tools. A compelling story can change minds and inspire action.

When advocating, individual stories put a face to the programs and services you are advocating for and the individuals you serve. Policymakers and community leaders become afterschool champions when they learn what afterschool means to youth and families.

Use this fillable form to tell your story about the value of afterschool programs and the impact they have on the families you serve as well as the community as a whole. The story can be told by any individual impacted by your program. We will use these stories in our afterschool advocacy efforts when reaching out to policymakers at the local, state and federal level, business leaders, educators, law enforcement, higher education, and all other sectors that should know about the critical work of their local afterschool programs.
